Alas, Davis, I must disagree. I think that, rather than owning her sexuality, darling Miley is following one of the few paths permitted to women in a patriarchal society. She does not fit the archetypal wife stereotype, but she represents the mistress perfectly. Expressing sexuality and displaying yourself for monetary gain (as most female artists do these days) are two very different things.
