First there were sexy cell phone pics posted by Cyrus herself along with a sexy costume and pretend kiss on stage for her Can’t Be Tamed performance. There have been rumors about a lap (and pole dancing) dance video, a sextape with her boyfriend and even a rumor that she was pregnant. This time celebrity blogger Perez Hilton created the controversy by tweeting an alleged upskirt photo of Miley stepping out of a car (photoshopped?). All of the buzz led Miley to say “I’m not trying to be slutty”.

So today my sister and I were watching the music video for "7 things" by Miley Cyrus because we were bored and we were looking at recent Miley controversy. We hadn’t really every seen her "sing" before and the music video FREAKED us out. We’re 17 and 19 and even we were astonished by the fact that girls who looked around 12 were mourning the loss of their "boyfriends". It seems that kids are "dating" younger and younger and it is socially acceptable and encouraged by the media. Do you think things will change or will more and more generations be turned towards the media’s ridiculous messages aimed at young children. Thanks for any and all opinions!
