The Last Song – Miley Cyrus – Movie Clip “Camp Out” – in stores August 10

Posted by Smart Ho Comments (24)

In this clip taken directly from the film we are able to see the initial spark of an attraction between “Ronnie” (Miley Cyrus) and “Will” (Liam Hemsworth). The more resistant “Ronnie” seems to be towards “Will” the more intriguing he finds her. Perhaps, she’s not as indifferent as she seems… Based on best-selling novelist Nicholas Sparks’ (“A Walk to Remember”, “The Notebook”) latest novel, “The Last Song” is set in a small Southern beach town where an estranged father (Greg Kinnear) gets a chance to spend the summer with his reluctant teenage daughter (Miley Cyrus), who’d rather be home in New York. He tries to reconnect with her through the only thing they have in common—music—in a story of family, friendship, secrets and salvation, along with first loves and second chances. The film is directed by Julie Anne Robinson from a screenplay by Nicholas Sparks & Jeff Van Wie. In stores August 10 Classification: PG

I love this scene but it gives me a headache seeing the different angles. I mean I totally get it. The camera man films it in one angle. Then the actors repeat the lines, so the camera man gets it at another angle. But seeing miley lean over 0:31 – 0:40. Then see her back on her seat looking at him 0:41- 0:45, then she’s back leaning at 0:46. its so ughhh.

Miley can’t act worth a shit. Couldn’t in Hannah Montana, can’t in this.

  13. 1212lolly1212 says:

@shreksbj if the cover had their faces on it (miley and liam) then definately. ;)

  14. misskatiesmilez says:

who reads a book in the dark???

  15. Legend1315 says:

@xoxAmericanEagle People see what they want to see. I think her acting is pretty good for her age. I mean, how many seventeen-year-old actors/actresses can do their job perfectly? She has a lot to learn, and all people to is criticize.

  16. dayzee101 says:

its so funny how u can like see some chemistry between them while filming. =]

  17. KayLoovsRihanna says:

@Legend1315 people criticize her way too much, but her acting could be better. There’s not a lot of depth in it. There are many child actors in tough roles that do a lot better.

  18. WERW0 says:

oh , how i wish i was Miley

  19. horseobsessed14 says:

How is she reading in the dark

  20. smarties101 says:

she could overact and do slapstick in hannah montana, you can tell she’s trying to play it down and it’s not working. also, the editing in the beginning is kinda bad. she needs more experience.
